Japanese bronze sculptures are sought after by collectors for their distinct figuration and also for the exquisite stylized rendering. Japanese bronzes and other metalwork are particularly noted for their experimentation with hot/cold alloy combinations.
While on the subject of metalwork, you might want to take a look at our Early Chinese Bronzes as well as Japanese, English, Continental and American silver pages. And please feel free to browse more Hartman Rare Art on Ebay.
