Over the centuries, Japanese artisans have mastered various forms of metal-craft and have been known for their use of innovative techniques and styles in the creation of beautiful work. While we have another web section devoted to bronze/mixed-metal pieces by Japanese artisans, we felt it equally important to highlight the objects crafted by Japanese artisans expressly in silver.
A few of the Japanese Silver items we have chosen to share with you are decorated on the surface with painted enamel flowers, scrolls and other traditional motifs. On this page is a selection of our Japanese Silver items as well as painted enamel Japanese pieces we offer for sale through our gallery.
If you are an avid silver aficionado, by all means sample our English, Continental and American pages.
