We do our best to carry a range of silver from European makers both earlier and later. While we offer a wide variety of earlier antique European silver, we also have a strong collection of hollowware items and flatware sets from innovative late 19th and early 20th century European silversmiths such as Puiforcat and Odiot representing France and the renowned Danish master, .

Bowl with cover and under-tray

A beautiful 20th century European silver covered bowl is a lovely piece and truly in beautiful condition. The bowl, its cover and the undertray are all decorated with engraved and etched scrolling motifs. The bowl features two handles extending from its rim. The bowl measures 12 inches length over the handles. In total, the set has a combined gross weight equal to 61 troy ounces.

Art Deco Tea Set by Puiforcat

This vintage Art Deco tea and coffee set was designed in France 1930 by the famed silversmith, Jean Puiforcat. Puiforcat began his career designing and creating silver items for personal use during the 1920's and by the 1930's, his designs were in very high demand due to the explosion of interest in Art Deco. The pieces are all octagonal form and the tea pot, coffee pot and sugar bowl all feature stepped covers. All the pieces have wood handles. The coffee pot measures a total 7 inches high. The total combined gross weight is equal to 85 troy ounces.

Continental Silver Flower Cart

This beautiful silver flower-cart was crafted in Europe during the late 19th/early 20th century. The cart features pierced walls with cut-lattice and applied floral decoration. Applied cartouches with cherubic figures modeled in repoussé. The cart is supported by two posts to the back and by a wheel mounted to the axel in the front. The cart does roll back and forth as one would imagine. This piece measures a total 10.5 inches length.

Set of 4 Belgian Silver Candlesticks by A. Charlent, 19th Century

This fine set of 4 silver candlesticks was crafted in Belgium during the 19th century. Each candlestick has a hexagonal-shaped base and a 3-sided stem decorated with architectural details. The sticks feature hexagonal urn-shaped sockets and hexagonal bobeches. Each piece is marked to the side of the base with the maker's mark "A. Charlent" in a rectangular cartouche and a Belgian assay mark in a lozenge shaped cartouche. The total combined gross weight for the set is equal to 123 troy ounces. Each candlestick measures 11 inches in height.
